My own platform

I really wanted to understand what it would be like to create a website end to end and host it. Professionally I have worked on a variety of different software applications, so it seemed pretty straightforward. I created a basic outline and wrote the basic structure for the site in a few weeks. Once the basic pieces are in place, managing a website is pretty straight forward. I really like the idea of having software that I can write exactly how I want. Having my own website has always been something that is interesting to me, and in fact I have had a simple “website” for my software resume for a long time. This is an upgraded version.

Basically I want a place where I can make my own content and host it. For most people that is limited to text, but I want to create a place where I can share creative works as well in the form of software tools. At first, these tools will be pretty basic while I learn the best ways to make them. But there really isn’t much limit to what software can be made. I also really want to keep learning and sharing what I learn about software.
